Nelly Duff Presents Eine’s Tenderloin A-Z + the launch of The World Atlas of Street Art & Graffiti

One of Quintessence’s recents books, The World Atlas of Street Art and Graffiti by Rafael Schacter, was launched last week at a very hip pop-up event in a disused warehouse in the heart of Hoxton. It was in collaboration with an exhibition hosted by Nelly Duff, for one night only, of the infamous graffiti artist Ben Eine and his ‘Tenderloin A-Z’ artwork. It was a great evening, we had a fun team outing there, here are a few of my Instagram pics from the night:

The party getting started. There was graffiti everywhere you looked – absolutely awesome styling of the location, there was a Rolls Royce even! I wonder how long it took to set it all up.

A work in progress A-Z print by Eine, one of many, this is #27

A final A-Z print on the graffiti covered walls (with spray cans still in situ!)

And here are the books! They were hot property, especially as Eine had hand-finished 10 covers each with an original artwork, it was pot luck if you got one of those ones or not, definitely worth the £25 thought!

Another final A-Z Eine print. Note: these are screen printed – sooooo many colours, must have taken ages to do!

The party in full swing – neon, beer and banter a plenty. Note: I only just noticed this, but Eine and Rafael are actually chatting away to each other in this snap, how cool is that – top marks if you can spot them!
Images were taken by Isabel Eeles.    (More snaps taken at the event with my DSLR to follow shortly…)
