Self Initiated Brief 1 – Ambiguity: Development

Here are samples of a few trials on playing around with words (the word light in this case):

Two different ways of showing the various possibilities with the word ‘light’ and all its different meanings and uses.

The white/black is effective, relevant to light as well I see no need for colour, just bold, letters and words, clear and simple, no fuss.

They work surprisingly well, not sure if its the most exciting of ways to show it but it def works,Ii still want to try other more adventurous ways e.g. tracing paper or more complex ways of folding and unfolding and layering…

3. Below is another quick sample along a similar line, simple idea and execution of juxtaposing a selection of words along side each other and seeing what can be produced.

I found it interesting to see how some words fit together and others that don’t and how a flow does or doesn’t pick up…
